Basic Vocal Lesson

Depending on skill level, the teacher will take a student’s interest and capability and prepare an individualized lesson plan to meet the needs of the student. Vocal Lesson & Accompaniment
Vocal and accompaniment piano is perfect for the striving performer. The focus of instruction is based on basic vocal skills but also teaches the student how to play the piano through accompaniment style. Being able to accompany yourself is a skill that you will have for a lifetime.
The piano is an instrument that serves as the foundation of music education. Learn how to read and play music, as well as proper hand placement and posture.
Learn how to properly play the guitar and experiment with different styles of playing. Find the style that best suits you!

Timing & Rhythm
Music isn’t anything without timing. At Elisa Girlando Studios, our skilled instructors teach students how to start feeling rhythms and learn about timing. Every song has a heartbeat. It’s crucial to feel that heartbeat!
Musical Theater Performance
This course will help beginning and intermediate students develop singing techniques, prepare songs for a variety of audition circumstances, select appropriate material, and have a comprehensive understanding of casting and audition protocol. Students will refine their professional image and expand their musical repertoire.
The Singing Actor
This class will expand your storytelling through song. Using numbers from musical theater, we will explore songs as musical texts; how do music and text work together to create a character and tell the story? What tools can the actor use to tell the story best? Whether you are an experienced singer or an “actor who sings,” we will find the best tools for you as you explore acting through song.
Rhythm. 911 (Private)
Instead of dancing to your music, learn how to dance with your music. Rhythm is the heartbeat and soul of any golden performance. Learning movements and placements are essential, but a refined ear is critical in understanding rhythmic patterns. This program will not only help you develop your dance moves, but also train your ear to better understand timing and rhythm.
Stage Presence and Movement (Private)
This program will help to customize your performance and maximize the quality of your presence by:
• Identify and capitalize on the strengths that differentiate you as an artist
• Learn to move within your space
• Exude swagger & confidence
• Perfect your performance piece both visually and sonically
• Increase stamina for stage performance
• Simplify and/or add movement to enhance the performance and song choice
• Focus on wardrobe & overall appearance for performances (competitions, videos, etc)
• Help reach your highest potential as a performer
