I’m recording a few new songs.  My good friend Mika wrote a song and wants me to sing it.  it’s really good.  I’m excited to record it tomorrow.  I aslo have three other songs i’m working on.  I also am in the process of writing a song with a new friend Valerie.  She’s really cool and excited to work with me.

The thing that’s great about  my job, is that you meet really cool people sometimes.  I’m very lucky to have met all the people that i work with.  I think they are so talented and i’m great full they work so hard for me and believe in me.

Also, my father, i’m very lucky to work with a great man like that.  (even though he wants to jump through the window in the studio at me sometimes! haha)  We have fun working together.. We tell it like it is… no holding back with us.. haha

As for shows.. I wish I had the time to do them all.  I think I’m going to have to choose one or the other for now.. I may do a show here or there.  But i truly want to just focus on making the best album ever!!!  So much fun!! I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!!!

Sunday was tough for me.  I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday.  I was a senior in high school and in art class when a teacher ran it.  I remember feeling like i needed to get home and quickly tried to remember if my father was scheduled to be in the city that day.  I also thought of my uncle who works on one of the top floors in the old Jive Building, but thankfully, he does’t get to work till 10:00 and only made it to the tunnel.. thankfully I did not lose anyone on that tragic day… But my heart broke for all those who lost their lives. and families that had to deal with the thought of their loved ones getting murdered for the past 10 years.  I couldn’t stop watching program after program about 9/11.  I watched the heart break of so many people and in return my heart broke.  I will never forget that day, and all the lives.  I can’t wait to go to the new site.  I will be buying a ticket to the museum the minute it opens!
